Your body CAN birth! But due to many factors of modern life, it has forgotten some important movements and positions that are essential for a positive birth experience. Your pelvis is a dynamic, shape shifting entity with joints that allow it to move and open in many different ways, and this workshop will teach you how to access these movement before birth!
This Body Ready Birth workshop is a 4 hour live class (1 hour virtual and 3 hours in person), with online access to educational and movement videos and PDFs once the class is completed. This is not a comprehensive childbirth education class and I highly recommend taking one!
The live class will cover:
- The importance of inner work and communication prenatally so your nervous system can access a flow state in birth.
- Your dynamic pelvis and your baby’s movements through it.
- The positions in your body that affect each level of the pelvis.
- Identifying where your baby is in the pelvis, what stage of birth you are in AND what positions can make birth more efficient and comfortable.
- Two different approaches to the management of birth.
- Practicing birth positions prenatally so you’re ready to intuitively find the position your body needs when it needs it.
- Time with me, a certified Body Ready Method Pro, to ask questions and gain knowledge.
- PLUS you’ll learn specific, hands-on techniques for your partner to use, which help with progress and comfort!
The online portal includes:
- Movement videos that create functional mobility in all 3 levels of the pelvis.
- Continued practice at home to create a muscle-brain connection so you can access the most helpful positions when they are needed.
- Printable handouts to bring to your birth.
Partners are welcomed and encouraged so they can learn the hands-on techniques to help you during labor.
Cost
The Body Ready Birth workshop is $225, which includes the live class plus lifetime access to the online portal as mentioned above. Save $25 with early registration!
